Harper’s Choice, like all of Columbia, has Village Covenants that preserve the maintenance and architectural integrity of the community and regulate changes to the exterior of all homes. Before altering the exterior of your house or property, you should consult the Guidelines and submit an Exterior Alteration Application for approval.

Residents who wish to run a business located in the home are also required to fill out and submit an In-Home Profession or Industry Application for approval. These documents can be found by clicking on the highlighted text above or may be picked up at Kahler Hall, 5440 Old Tucker Row.

The Architectural Committee is a group of dedicated resident volunteers that meet twice a month to discuss applications, revise guidelines and address covenant issues within the village. Their meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at Kahler Hall in the Village Center. Applications are to be submitted two weeks prior to the meeting where they will be discussed.

September 8, 22; October 13, 27; November 10, 24; December 8.
